News from 2018:
AGM: The club's AGM was held on Wednesday 7th November. All sitting committee members were re-elected to their posts.
Christmas Dinner: This year's club Christmas was held on Saturday December 1st at The Mill Hotel.
Sudbury Regatta: A scuba club publicity stall was run at the Sudbury Regatta and it attracted plenty of interest, hopefully generating some potential new members.
Congratulations to Mary, Mark and Lauren, who qualified as Assistant Instructors and well done to Graham D, who is now a qualified Open Water Instructor!
Seasearch Talk: A big thank you to Rob Spray and Dawn Watson of Seasearch East, who informed and entertained us at our dry night on March 7th. Rob explained the aims of the organisation as a whole and the training and support made available to divers locally and further afield. The talk generated a lot of interest within our club and we will be looking to engage further with Seasearch, by taking up training opportunities and/or participating in their group diving expeditions.
