Diver of the Year 2021: This year's award winner is Malcolm Davies -congratulations!
New Committee: The club's AGM was held on Wednesday, 3rd November and a new committee was formed. Thanks to out-going co-secretaries Lauren and Ryan, and welcome to the committee new secretary Aiden! For full details of our committee click here.
Newly Qualified Ocean Divers: It has been a very busy few weeks for the Training Team at Sudbury Scuba Club. Lots of pool training followed by Open Water Training at Stoney Cove has resulted in 5 more qualified Ocean Divers: Máiréad, Emily, Pete, Dave & Aiden, as well as another Sports Diver, Malcolm. So congratulations to all of you and a special thanks must go to Training Officer Graham Dorney and his dedicated team of Instructors particularly Ron, Mark, and Julian and all those who helped shoreside and with pool training. New Open Water Instructor: After many hours study, exams and numerous training trips to Stoney Cove and Gildenburgh Water, club member (and Membership Secretary) Mark Jones was awarded the BSAC Open Water Instructor qualification in June 2021. Congratulations Mark!
