New Club Venues: The club is very pleased to have secured an hour's slot at the Halstead Leisure Centre pool every second and fourth Wednesday of the month. The pool is a similar depth to that at the Kingfisher (sadly now closed), so will be our main training and try dive venue going forward. Try dives will not re-commence until the new year however, in order to give time for the change to bed in. We have also arranged the use of the 3.5 metre pool at the Wattisham Airfield once a month. This will provide an enriched experience for trainees and experienced club divers. More details on the arrangements surrounding the use of these new venues are available by contacting the club in the usual way.

Kingfisher Pool Closure: We we very disappointed to learn of the permanent closure of the pool facilities at the Kingfisher Leisure Centre (see here for press announcement).
Sudbury Scuba Club is actively seeking alternatives for training and try dive sessions. Details will be communicated here when confirmed. Anyone wishing to try scuba diving should still contact us, using the details in the 'contact us' page of this website, and we will endeavour to offer you a place as soon as possible.
New Ocean Divers: Many congratulations to Ian, Harry, Andy and Charlie, who attained the Ocean Diver qualification at Stoney Cove over the weekend of 18-19 April. Many thanks to the volunteer training team and supporters for making the weekend such a success.
